I have spent my life studying the interplay of light and color from the lands I call home among the red rocks, snow-capped peaks, and flowing streams of the Colorado Plateau and Rocky Mountains. My art emerges from a visceral and deeply intuitive connection to color; I am fascinated by the way a single color can shift in relation to another and how its expression changes in different dimensions of light.
I explore the texture, topography, and depth of human experience and emotion through collage, mixed media, sculpture, watercolor, and acrylic painting.
I live with my wife next to a meandering creek beneath a canopy of pine trees in Colorado Springs.
